With the rapid expansion of Artificial Intelligence into everyday life, answering the question of what it means to be human has become more urgent. The debate about who we are as a species is top of mind for a much larger portion of the earth’s population than it was even a few years ago.

We humans argue that we are unique beings on earth, maybe in the universe, endowed with the ability to plan, reason, imagine, create, debate, love, laugh, heal, and even shape our physical and virtual environments in ways no other species could.

Yet each day new breakthrough capabilities from AIs are proving that many of these special attributes might not be so uniquely human after all.

We are Irreplaceable 

In the midst of this turmoil, the fashion and lifestyle brand No AI Inside™ emerges to represent the positive, human side of the debate. Our capacity for compassion, creativity, love, and a sense of irony is so much more complex and powerful than any AI will ever be. No AI Inside™ is there to place its thumb on the scale as we contemplate the specialness of being human.

No AI Inside™ is not a protest against AI. In fact, one of the things that makes us humans special is that we created AI. And like it or not, AI is here to stay. We humans must learn to live with the consequences of what we have unleashed. That too will be part of the debate about what it means to be human.

We Humans are Imperfect, but Somehow Perfect

But No AI Inside™ recognizes two things that will always make us uniquely human: our individuality among billions of fellow humans and that none of us possess an artificial intelligence. We are the analog version of intelligence through and through. The OG. We’ve even got those unexplainable features, quirks, and bugs that make each of us who we are: imperfect, but somehow perfect. No AI can do that.
